Due to the continued high demand for RSS services, we created a satellite location in Riga, Latvia in 2023. The Riga office is part of the Roche Services & Solutions EMEA organization and complements the Budapest site in capabilities and capacities. The Riga office is planned to grow to more than 200 employees over the next 4-5 years, with talents in exciting and emerging fields such as Digital Marketing, Regulatory Capabilities, Agile Coaching, Project Management as well as Finance.
Job description:
- Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions using RPA, scripting, Desktop Automation, and programming languages like VBS, Google AppScript, SAP Script, Python, etc.
- Contribute to the achievement of annual and quarterly team objectives.
- Embrace iterative work processes, minimal documentation, close business-IT collaboration, and global team communication.
- Collaborate with Global Product Owners, developers, business analysts/partners, and platform teams to enhance cross-regional cooperation and reuse existing solutions.
- Maintain automations in production as needed while addressing ongoing support requirements.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, and workshops with clients to ensure optimal technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, quality, and performance standards, and engage in team retrospectives for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a technical field, or equivalent experience in Automation is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in developing solutions using UiPath or similar platforms, or programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.JS, .Net, VBA/VBS, Google App Script, SAP Scripting, or Python is required.
- Experience in agile organizations and familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or XP is optional.
- Familiarity with self-managed team environments and knowledge of OKRs is a plus.
- Advanced English, and additional language skills are considered an asset.
- Experience working in a Shared Service Center environment is beneficial.
- Holding an Automation Development Certification or similar certification is a valued plus.

Monthly Salary:
1900-2200 EUR Gross.
