As the Baltics Head of Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations, you will be the primary Financial Reporting & Accounting representative for country leadership. You'll coordinate with NGSC process teams to design, deliver, and improve Financial Reporting & Accounting services, acting as a key partner for Divisional CFOs, BPA, BD&L, and commercial business partners.

Job description: 
  • Oversee Financial Reporting & Accounting matters, ensuring compliance with local legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Manage financial reporting and internal/external audits, ensuring alignment with IFRS and Novartis standards.
  • Collaborate with NGSC, Region, and Hub teams to drive strategic goals and enhance service delivery.
  • Handle statutory, tax, and treasury topics, including local audits, financial reporting, and liaison with tax authorities and banks.
  • Lead operational and project teams to achieve targets and implement digital finance transformations.
Requirements: 
  • 3 + years experience in an international company in accounting, audit, or finance as a Business controller, Finance manager, Finance controller, or similar role.
  • Very good English and Latvian language skills.
  • Comprehension of accounting and finance processes and principles.
  • Team player, very good analytical skills,  independent worker, oriented on cooperation and development, analytical mindset
  • Very good MS Excel skills.
