Our client, KONICA MINOLTA BALTIA, is the official representative of Konica Minolta Inc. in the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). Konica Minolta is a leading global supplier of IT, document processing, as well as digital devices, and industrial printing solutions. Konica Minolta excels in service-based business consulting, implementation, and management and offers its customers a wide range of printing systems and solutions.
- Conduct market analysis and develop a sales strategy for the Latvian market. The work should not rely on the past as a foundation, but rather take into account the lessons learned from it (additional information will be provided).
- Build relationships with clients as if they were both your best friends and family. This does not mean going to the pub with them, but rather providing honest advice and supporting them in any situation.
- Manage the sales team by setting tasks, monitoring performance, training employees, and reviewing results. It should be noted that the sales team will truly become a complete team only after you join.
- Achieve sales targets. The sales team is not large, so a lot will depend on you.
- Be responsible for CRM management and maintenance, as well as submitting the necessary sales reports. Your direct manager works from Vilnius, so CRM will be very useful for communication.
- Ensure the performance of the sales pipeline.
We would love to stop here, but the following responsibilities will also fall on your shoulders:
- Active involvement not only in sales but also in other activities of the Latvian branch. You will be the leader of both the sales team and the rest of your colleagues (a total of 9 people).
- Defining and documenting processes, and sometimes assigning less pleasant tasks to team members - or handling them yourself.
- Even from the Konica Minolta Baltia headquarters in Vilnius, we see opportunities in the Latvian market, so we need strong and capable hands to turn these opportunities into reality.
- Higher education (in business management or a related field).
- A positive, responsible personality with initiative. You will be the key person in the Latvian branch, leading the sales team and other colleagues, and managing the branch as if it were your own company.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technology company.
- At least 3 years of successful team management experience.
- Successfully implemented projects. We mean the kind of stories you tell within your circle of acquaintances.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and most importantly, the ability to build a team.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as independently find solutions. Your manager -and even the authors of this job advertisement - are located 350 km away, so a lot of responsibility will rest on your shoulders.
- Be bold and entrepreneurial. You will have to make decisions, and not all of them will be easy or pleasant.
- Excellent Latvian and good English language skills.
