- Lead accounting and consulting project teams within client portfolios, ensuring effective task allocation, execution monitoring, deadline management, and quality control.
- Manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Latvian legislation and group accounting principles.
- Ensure full-cycle outsourced payroll processing and administration in accordance with Latvian labour law and tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit VAT, corporate income tax, and other tax declarations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and payments.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential accounting, payroll, and employee data records.
- Prepare annual financial statements and cooperate with auditors throughout audit processes.
- Advise clients on accounting, payroll, and related tax matters.
- Build and maintain professional, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Participate in accounting project planning, process optimisation, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures.
- Cooperate with government institutions and external partners within the scope of responsibility.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and the implementation of modern technologies and AI tools.
- Strong knowledge of Latvian accounting, tax, and payroll legislation.
- Proven practical experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Experience preparing annual financial statements in cooperation with auditors.
- Higher education in Economics, Finance, or a related field, combined with senior-level professional experience.
- Ability to independently organise work, take ownership of results, and work in a hands-on environment.
- Strong business mindset with the ability to understand client needs and build professional relationships.
- Excellent MS Excel skills; knowledge of Horizon and Axapta (D365) will be considered an advantage.
- Good Latvian and English language skills for communication with clients.
