To develop and ensure effective implementation of Health and Safety (H&S) provisions and processes across RB Rail AS (RB Rail) and projects managed by RB Rail, to develop and propose H&S requirements for the Rail Baltica Global Project (RBGP) to strive for “Zero accident project”, to ensure data gathering and coordination of H&S statistics and reporting at RBGP level.
- Develop and implement H&S processes across the organization, ensure implementation of H&S requirements, including coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure day-to-day management of occupational H&S, assist project owners and managers in the general supervision of the requirements.
- Develop and implement H&S Management tool for electronic H&S data management (software, EDMS).
- Collaborate with experts of Rail Baltica implementation organisations to propose and align goals, policies, key performance indicators and practices (including procedures and standards) for a consistent, measurable and comparable performance on cross-project level.
- Summarise monthly H&S performance results, carry out trends analysis and prepare lessons learned
- Degree or a similar level qualification (corresponding to first level higher vocational education in H&S according to Regulations of Cabinet of Ministers).
- 5+ years in a H&S position in construction sector, ideally related to railway infrastructure.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Latvian, good command of technical English.
3400-3900 Eur Gross.
