Job description: 

Our client, Fima is looking for a Tendering Director. This person is going to manage high-budget strategic development tenders related to transportation, civil engineering and telecommunications. The person, entering this position, will be responsible for the whole interal business development process flow, including preparation of documents and offers, budgeting, negotiating and team management. Here are some of the tasks one will be conducting:      


  • Identifying opportunities for tender proposals
  • Participate in tender and procurement processes
  • Participation, creation and submission of offers (Qualifications, Technical and Financial offers)
  • Monitoring and management of sales projects
  • Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation
  • Monitoring of the bid management to ensure it is aligned with the organization's requirements
  • Contribution to cost and price calculations
  • Liaising with internal teams as well as suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Developing and realization of internal sales strategies
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Managing a team in the foreseeable future
  • Experience in preparation and submission of technical and financial offers
  • Work experience in tendering engineering/technology projects
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Very good knowledge of Latvian and English, good knowledge of Russian
  • Structured approach to work, ability to work independently and plan your daily tasks
  • High sense of responsibility and orientation to results
  • Expert in EIS system or other systems where tenders are published

Nice to have:

  • Higher education in engineering or equivalent technical field
  • Work experience as BID manager
  • Work experience as a sales team manager/sales director or other

Monthly Salary: 

3700- 4200 EUR Gross
